BARESPACE is a 500 m² industrial venue and creative hub in Amsterdam Zuidoost, founded by artists, designers, and makers. Originally developed as a shared production environment, the space has evolved into a flexible platform for exhibitions, performances, workshops, dinners, screenings, pop-ups, rehearsals, photo and film shoots, and community-driven events.
The venue combines raw industrial character with adaptable spatial configurations. It includes a large central open area suitable for medium to large-scale gatherings, alongside artist studios, modular working spaces, a movement studio, storage areas, kitchen facilities, and on-site parking. The layout allows the space to shift between intimate and large-format setups depending on the event.
BARESPACE is particularly suited for projects that benefit from atmosphere, experimentation, and spatial freedom. We regularly host interdisciplinary cultural programming, but also welcome brands, organizations, and independent creatives looking for a distinctive setting for temporary activations, launches, productions, or gatherings.
BARESPACE operates at the intersection of cultural production, temporary architecture, and collective exchange.
