Situated in five history buildings, our space is more a labyrinth than just a simply beautiful building. Each of the spaces have their own unique character, but all reflect the design sensibility that Droog brings. Since we tend to rebuild the rooms quite often, you can be assured of an original event location that will certainly surprise your guests.
Our café: open every day from 9am until 7pm. Outside these hours, the cafe is also to hire for presentations, debates, dinners, receptions etc. There is a large white screen and beamer available with a supporting sound system and mics. Unlike any other space, this room feeds creativity.
Courtyard: a room in which you can experience the feeling of being outside. Birds are flying over, making it seem as if the light behind the canal houses window frames continue. The huge amount of light that shines through the windows provides a spatial feeling and perfectly suits company presentations, press releases, inspirational meetings or even a picnic. The room has three large tv screens for use to promote your brand or perhaps show a film.
Garden: the courtyard has been transformed into a shelter for biodiversity, where natural and artificial elements intermingle. All elements are functional, attracting, feeding, watering, and providing respite for birds, butterflies, insects, flowers, edible plants and humans alike. Mixing seamlessly with abundant plantation, synthetic turf covers the winding pathways to create a sense of stillness, all the while creating an atmosphere of a fairy tale.
Library: Our blank paged books can be used to document inspiration during any meeting or company presentation. The flowered wallpaper based on a painting in the Rijksmuseum adds a cosy atmosphere to the room. The library is also an ideal space to reserve for a private dinner.
Extension of the garden: No occasion is too ambitious! An extension of the garden, a high ceilinged public space within the Hotel that gently pulls the elements of outside, inside. It's suitable for every occasion due to the red textile interior.
