After extensive renovation and renovation work, the historic liqueur factory (built in 1905) is now an attractive location with a spectacular view of the Rhine and is open to your projects. In the immediate vicinity of the Cologne Trade Fair, our location welcomes you as a multifunctional film and shooting and popup location with modern infrastructure. You can expect spacious rooms with a unique industrial ambience. In the pillarless hall (235 m², 8 m ceiling height), the inner courtyard and 9 other rooms (17-80 m²) the most varied of film and photo productions, events and pop-up stores can be implemented flexibly on a total of 750 m². The rooms are empty, but can also be set up as an option. An attractive inner courtyard (100 m²), a spectacular green area (350 m²), also with a view of the Rhine, a back yard and a forecourt expand the possibilities of the location in the outdoor area. The factory hall also offers sufficient space and the necessary infrastructure for team stays, make-up, cloakroom and post-production. Two kitchens (on both levels), toilets and parking spaces are also available.
The hall has a large gate for problem-free truck delivery of large superstructures. There are ramps for placing vehicles in the hall, as well as suspension points, ambient lighting, stage elements and a scaffolding. Both the hall and all rooms have daylight, but can optionally also be darkened.
Only 1.5 km away from the RTL studios and in the immediate vicinity of the Schanzenviertel, where numerous media companies, publishers, TV studios and the Cologne theater are located, the location is at the center of the action. The location can be easily reached by public and private transport, and its proximity to the Rhine also enables it to be reached by ship. The path leads on foot over the Rheinboulevard or from the Cologne Youth Park over the Katzenbuckelbrücke. The factory hall is a very special location, located in Cologne Mülheim, the most exciting district that Cologne currently has to offer. Because on the “Schäl Sick” there is not only a unique perspective of the Rhine, the Mülheim harbor and the Mülheim bridge, but above all the opposite green side of the Rhine with the typical Cologne city silhouette including the cathedral peaks and the cable car.
